Free Walking Tour Catania

Please let us introduce our local and licensed guides that started in 2017 the first Free Tour Catania, Sicily. Our inspiration came from our travels, a free tour guide once told us: if there is no free tour in your city, do it yourself! We have accepted the challenge and we have grown offering a variety of tours in our beloved city.

Since we have the memory of our ancestors in our DNA, we love sharing myths, legends and stories. The stranger is sacred and a source of richness and knowledge. Therefore in our walks we are always exchanging experiences and points of view to understand cultures and history and to feel the emotion of discovering ourselves in the other. 

Catania Free Walking Tour is an introduction to the black and white city shaped by Volcano Etna, we show the effects of living under the threat and blessing of Etna, we explain what is behind our Baroque architecture, we teach some Sicilian expressions, attitudes and more... Depending on the seasons and week days, we usually start at 10 am and 3 or 6 pm (check our calendar on the official website, yellow button), the free tour lasts about 2 hours and booking is mandatory to guarantee guides’ availability.

We also offer private paid tours that span out of the imaginary ring of the historical center or delve into the Street Art linked to the city Activism or feed your 5 senses with the best Sicilian street food in the local fish market or take you to Syracuse, the greek city of the Tyrants. Our Private paid tours are upon request and can be tailored.

The constant feature and what we think makes us special is our local guides: funny, knowledgeable and easygoing, rooted in Catania but also crazy about traveling and broadening their mind.
