Free Walking Tour Curaçao

A Free Walking Tour on Curacao that goes through Punda and Otrobanda

Free Curaçao Walking Tour

We're 2 friends, one with a passion for storytelling and the other with a passion for travel and both share a love for the island.

We launched Free Walking Tours Curaçao in 2009. Initially as a challenge to ourselves to see if we had what it took to provide a service and secondly to provide the best unbiased, truly authentic experience possible to tourists and locals alike.

We offer free walking tours of the old town, private tours, beach hopping tours and other unique experiences.

This is a free walking tour, but it was more comprehensive than most tours we have paid to go on. Kevin is a gem, he is from the island and he is a fountain of information. He answered every question we asked, and we asked some very diverse questions. Questions regarding government, politics, religion, historical facts and the food. Kevin showed us places we could shop for items made by the locals and eat like the locals. Even where to get the cheapest local beer on the island.

Curacao has beautiful beaches, great snorkeling and scuba diving, but there is so much more. Kevin gave us a 2 1/2 hour walking tour of Willemstad where he discussed the history, the culture, the economy and the political system of the island. We learned so much in a relatively short time. We also got to sample the local blue liqueur, Kevin was a delight to talk to and he was very thoughtful and considerate of my walking limitations (I use a cane.) I highly recommend him.

Kevin met us promptly at the meeting area and shook all of our hands before he checked us off the list. We walked at a very easy pace and even took a break to sit down in the shaded area and try Blue Curacao liquor. He gave us so much information on the history and traditions. It was nice to hear about his personal side as well with how long he had been in Curacao and his family. Kevin is a great ambassador for Curacao and you left feeling like you had spent a few hours with a good friend.
