we had an awesome time with Cedric. He knew the history and sites extremely well and made it come to life. He is a great guide. It was a relatively small group and showed us the local sites and the areas that no doubt we would never have found or known about. The tour was at a very comfortable pace for everyone and about the right amount of time...about 2 1/2 hours.. Truly fun. Thank you Cederic!

We went with Cedric and for 2.5 hours we walked around Antibes discovering its history, culture, architecture, art and some of the people who have come to Antibes over the centuries. Cedric is super friendly, very knowledgeable and has a positive sunny outlook on life. This is the perfect way to orient yourself, see a few hidden gems and just enjoy the lovely ambience of Antibes. It’s a free tour but we were more than happy to tip 15 euros.

Had an amazing tour in Antibes last week with Seyma! She was welcoming and had a great knowledge about Antibes and showed us the main places and gave us some advice on what to do while being on the French Riviera. We also tried and learned the history of Absinthe which I enjoyed a lot! I recommend Seyma and the walking tour!

Frequently asked questions about the tour

What’s the best way to get to Antibes, Cannes or Monaco?

Most overseas visitors are landing in Nice (the big city) with its international airport and use it as a base for their holiday on the French Riviera. If you end up in the same situation, we will highly recommend to travel along the coast by train (if they are not striking of course 😉). Train is definitively the best way to travel along the coast. Not only it’s the best coastal ride with amazing sea views along the way but it’s also the fastest and cheapest way to do it. During high season, traffic is just crazy and we highly recommend not being on the road. It is also without saying that you will avoid the crazy French drivers and getting stuck in traffic for hours. Another good point is that every train station is located straight in the city centres so no need to find a very expensive park and you can just walk everywhere from there. Trains are generally scheduled every 20 to 30 min and tickets are also very affordable. To finish, you are also reducing your carbon footprint, bonus!

Do we need to book “Free Walking Tours” for Antibes and Cannes?

Yes, please. As we are offering this service in small towns, we are not necessarily running everyday all year round. We are also limiting our tours to 20 people max so we can deliver a good service and connect with everyone which means a lot to us. As today more and more people book and don’t turn up, it’s still a way sometimes for us to have your details and contact you so we can start the tour and don’t have to wait for people who will not turn up. Please don’t hesitate to update us if you can’t make it by flicking us an email, a text or a Whatsapp message, we would be very grateful to know it in advance so the group would not be waiting for you.

Where are the meeting points?

Meeting points are generally the same every season, but it could change so check on our website or through your booking confirmations and reminders (they are always up-to-date). Meeting points are strategical places, easy to find and most of the time straight in the heart of the city. We always provide explanations on how to reach as well as Google Maps address.

At what time do the tours start?

Every tour can start at a different time so, again, please check on the website our your emails. Starting times depends on tour duration and type of activities. We mostly run morning tours to avoid heat specially during hot season but we offer also evening tours in summer, etc. For private tours, we can of course customize starting times and places.

How do we book private or corporate tours and activities or events?

Special requests can be sent by email to [email protected] or by Whatsapp, Messenger… We will acknowledge your requirements, dates and desires and work out together the best way to organize it all. We will send you some recommendations for you to make the most of your time and optimize your costs while having a positive impact on the environment as much as possible just because we care!
