Free Walking Tour Belfast

Explore the beautiful city of Belfast with Belfast Free Walking Tour!

Free Belfast Walking Tour

At Belfast Free Walking Tour we have been offering Free Tours of this wonderful old town since 2014. Belfast is thriving and all our guides are passionate about displaying the beautiful Victorian era architecture, describing the industrial heritage that made Belfast a world-leading powerhouse and showing you a new Belfast that is becoming more and more vibrant with each passing year!

Our Free Tour begins outside the imposing and magnificent City Hall, right in the centre of town. On our way to the Linen Quarter, we visit the famous Europe Hotel and the beautiful Crown Liquor Saloon. After a visit to the Titanic Memorial Garden we continue to the old city centre, the site of the original Belfast Castle. Beyond the ‘leaning tower of Belfast’ (the Albert Memorial Clock) we have a perfect photo opportunity at the Big Fish on the banks of the River Lagan. On the far side of the river we will see the Titanic Museum located at the old shipyard where she was built and began her journey. Our ramble through town finishes around the back lanes of the lively Cathedral Quarter. After the Free Tour in the city centre, join us in West Belfast for the Political Tour to explore the history of the conflict known as the Troubles with two guides, a different guide from each community, who were involved and will tell you their story.

Explore Belfast with us. Our city is compact, beautiful and full of character. We will bring it to life on the Free Tour by letting you experience Belfast through our stories and our perspective. Like the rest of the people of Belfast we are super sociable and it is our pleasure to meet you and share our city with you. Come and join us on the Free Tour!

A cold snowy day in Belfast
Rating: 5 out of 5
Rachel was our guide for yesterday's walking tour. She was very interesting and passionate about the city, she showed us some must-see places in Belfast and advised us with some interesting places to go! She knows absolutely everything there is to know about Belfast as she has a special history with the city, and me and my friend have learned a lot from this tour! I 100% recommend this, it's completely worth it. Nicolas

We went on the tour with David. Even though it was my second time in Belfast I learned a lot of new things and saw events from a totally different perspective. David was passionate and animated and really brought the rich history of the city to life. He was patient with questions and also gave us lots of chances to get some great photos.
Amazing free walking tour!

We started our visit to Belfast with a morning tour of the city with our awesome local tour guide Richard! This was an amazing tour that took us all around the city where he explained to us a lot about the history of the country and why things are the way they are today! He was extremely knowledgeable and an entertaining man to be around. He even leant his umbrella to my friend as she wasn’t prepared for the rain. This was a great tour to be apart of and an even better way to get to know the city. If you are staying in Belfast for a few days don’t miss out on this city tour!
