Highly recommend this tour as it takes you to the "main" sights as well as some back streets that you might not wander to on your own. It's up to you how much you would like to tip at the end. It seemed like most of our group was tipping about 10 euros a person (20 a couple) and it was well that amoun

Really great tour! You learn a lot about the city and get great tips of places to go and eat and visit after the tour. The guide, Angelo, is very friendly and relaxed. I think free walking tours are a great way to see a city. Highly recommended!

We loved this tour through a quiet torino. It was hot but our tourguide was smart enough to pick a path in the shadow and avoid direct sunshine. We saw so many new spots and heard so many new things. One of the best things to do when you arrive here.

Frequently asked questions about the tour

Where is the meeting point for your free Turin tours?

Our meeting point is always in front of the exit of the subway station of “Porta Nuova” in front of the main railway station of Turin. The square’s name is Piazza Carlo Felice, right next to the Tourists Info Point, so quite easy to find. You can recognize your guide by the flag or the blue and yellow umbrella.

At what time does the Turin free walking tour begin?

Each morning, from Thursday to Monday, at 10:30 AM begins our walk in different languages. Whether it’s sunshine or rain. We suggest to arrive a few minutes earlier, especially if you’re not quite familiar with the area. That’s also a good connection to other travellers.

How long does the Turin free walking tour last?

Usually the walk lasts around 2,5 hours, depending on the size of the group and including a quick coffee or snack break.

Is booking really necessary?

Of course it is, because we do care about the quality of the experience and it is for us the only way to know how many people would come to a particular tour. But the entire booking process is quite simple. It takes just a few clicks to fill out the form!

How can it be free?

The Free Tour Turin, belonging to the worldwide family of the Free Tours, is a legally recognized social enterprise, run exclusively by passion and our eagerness to show the magic and wonders of our city. We don’t receive any social aids or public support but we still pay taxes on tips we receive.
