Free Walking Tour Warsaw

Explore the capital of Poland with Orange Umbrella. The oldest and best-rated free tour in Warsaw!

Free Warsaw Walking Tour

Orange Umbrella Free Tour is the oldest and the best rated regular English walking tour in Warsaw. We run our tours every day, all year round, regardless of holidays and weather conditions. Our classics, in schedule since 2011 include: the Old Town Tour, the Best of Warsaw Tour, the World War 2 Tour and the Jewish Warsaw Tour.

We are a local Warsaw-based company. Our guides are true Varsovians who love their city and want to share their passion and knowledge. On each tour a tourist will get an original, different, local perspective. Our guides are trained, licensed professionals with university education and high language competence. You will easily identify them by orange umbrellas with the British flag mounted on top.

When guiding we focus on stories rather than bare facts. We talk as much about history as about everyday life in contemporary Warsaw. We are determined to show you Poland’s Capital as we see it: a colorful, lively city, with a turbulent past but with an immense energy to move forward.

Our tour guide Albert was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Polish history and dramatic Jewish story. He shared a lot of information and photos, which helped to feel the atmosphere of Warsaw Ghetto and fully imagine the Warsaw life of those dark days.Would definitely recommend the tour! Thank you, Albert!

Our tour guide Max was super nice. He gave us a lot of information about the history of Warschau and showed us places we wouldnt have explored on our own. He also made sure we could understand him. We highly recommend to do at least one of the many advertised tours.

We had a lovely tour with Gośka on the Best Of Warsaw tour. She knew alot about the city and got excited by the interest of the group. Because of that we had a wonderful experience and impression of the city. We also had the Jewish Warsaw tour wich was also very nice and gave a full impression of the Jewish community and history. Many thanks to Gośka and Max and the organisation!!!

Orange Umbrella Free Tours are pay-as-you-wish tours, so ‘free’ can mean several things. First of all, you’re free to join the tour. You’re also free to leave at any point if, for any reason, you’re not satisfied with it. But ‘free’ also means we don’t charge you with the tour ticket costs. We’re not financially supported neither by Warsaw city authorities nor by any sponsors. The only kind of remuneration our guides receive for the Orange Umbrella Free Tour is donations/tips they receive at the end of the tour. And again, you’re free to decide how much the tour was worth or how much you can afford to donate.
